Are You?

Recently, I was listening to a song, called "Fear God" by Grand Rapids. Two statements especially captured my attention, : "The heavens declare the glory of God. Do you? Do you?(Ps.19:1)" and "He is not willing that any shall perish. Are you? Are you? (2 Peter 3:9)"

Those are thoughtful questions to ask. Are you willing that any shall perish? Recently, a lady was talking to me how Christians means, "little christs." We are to be living examples of Christ. Jesus came to seek and to save the lost(Luke 19:10). Also one of the first commands states that we are to follow Him for the purpose of being fishers of men(Matthew 4:19). It's very clear, that we should not be willing that any should perish and that is part of being "little christs."

By the way, I recommend the other songs by Believers in Grand Rapids. I like how they are taken from scripture. Here are two others I have listened to: 1 Corinthians 13, and James 2:14-16.

I like that, "little christs", that is SO true! Being the shadow of Christ. And yet it is so sad at how we all fail that, and are NOT blameless before the eyes of God. Those two words "little christs" are powerful, and will keep me thinking about it ALL the time now. Thanks for sharing that Kalani!
